Setup and Installation
This floodlight is designed for hardwired installation. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified electrician if you are not familiar with electrical wiring. Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Mounting Location: Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the light fixture. The recommended installation height is 6.5 to 13.1 feet above the ground.
- Mount the Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box (not included) using the provided machine screws.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the three wires (Live, Neutral, Ground) from the fixture to your household wiring using the provided wire nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Secure the Fixture: Attach the floodlight unit to the mounting bracket using the long machine screw and ensure the silicone gasket is properly seated for a waterproof seal.
- Adjust Light Heads and Sensor: Loosen the screws on the side of the light heads and motion sensor to adjust their angles for optimal coverage. Tighten screws once adjusted.

Operating Instructions
Your Onforu floodlight offers two primary operating modes: Motion-Activated and Dusk-to-Dawn (D2D). Adjust settings using the dials located on the motion sensor unit.
Mode Selection and Adjustment:
- TEST Mode: For initial setup and testing. The light will turn on for 5 seconds when motion is detected, regardless of day or night. If dimmable function is turned on, the light stays on during the day at 10%~30% brightness.
- Motion-Activated Mode:
- Sensitivity (SENS): Adjusts the motion detection range (L: 19.7-26.2ft, M: 26.2-39.3ft, H: 39.3-72.2ft).
- Time (TIME): Sets how long the light stays on after motion is detected (10 seconds to 10 minutes).
- Lux (LUX): Determines the ambient light level at which the motion sensor becomes active (daylight to darkness).
- Dimmable Function: If enabled, the light will stay on all night at 10%-30% brightness when motion is detected, then return to 100% brightness upon further motion.
- Dusk-to-Dawn (D2D) Mode: The light automatically turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Onforu floodlight, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the wiring and mounting for any signs of wear, damage, or loosening. Ensure the silicone gasket remains intact to maintain IP65 waterproofing.
- LED Lifespan: The integrated LED beads are designed for long-term use (30,000+ hours) and do not require replacement.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your floodlight, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power, incorrect wiring, sensor settings. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections. Adjust LUX setting to a darker level or TEST mode. |
| Light stays on continuously. | LUX setting too high, continuous motion, dimmable function active. | Adjust LUX setting to a brighter level. Ensure no constant motion in detection zone. If dimmable function is on, this is normal operation at 10-30% brightness. |
| Motion sensor not detecting. | Incorrect sensitivity, obstructed sensor, incorrect angle. | Increase SENS setting. Clear any obstructions from the sensor lens. Adjust sensor angle. |
| Light flickers or dims unexpectedly. | Unstable power supply, loose wiring. | Consult a qualified electrician to check power supply and wiring connections. |
