Setup

Collar Adjustment

Ensure the collar fits snugly around your dog's neck, allowing two fingers to fit comfortably between the collar and the dog's skin. The contact points on the receiver should touch the dog's skin. If your dog has long fur, you may need to trim the fur around the contact points for optimal performance. The collar strap can be cut to size and the end melted to prevent fraying.

Charging the Devices

Connect the provided USB charging cable to both the remote transmitter and the receiver collar. A full charge typically provides up to 90 days of battery life. The remote's display will show battery percentage for both devices.

Pairing

The remote transmitter and receiver collar are pre-paired from the factory. To activate, simply turn on both devices. The remote's display will indicate the battery status of both the remote and the collar, confirming successful connection.

Operating Modes

Remote Transmitter Overview

The remote transmitter features a digital display showing battery levels, intensity settings, and active channels. It includes buttons for Beep, Vibration, and Static modes, as well as a lock/unlock function to prevent accidental activation.

Mode Functions

  • Beep Mode: Emits an audible tone from the receiver collar. This is often used as an initial warning or for positive reinforcement.
  • Vibration Mode: Delivers a non-harmful vibration to the collar. The intensity can be adjusted from level 1 to 9. This mode is effective for gaining attention or interrupting unwanted behaviors.
  • Static Mode (Shock): Provides a static correction. The intensity can be adjusted from level 0 to 99. Use the lowest effective level. The remote also features a "double shock" option for higher intensity, to be used with caution and only when necessary.

Channel Selection

The remote supports up to 4 channels, allowing you to control multiple collars (up to 4 dogs) with a single remote. Use the channel selection button on the side of the remote to switch between collars.

Safety Guidelines

  • Do not leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 hours per day to prevent skin irritation.
  • Regularly check your dog's neck for any signs of irritation, redness, or sores. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.
  • Always start with the lowest intensity setting for static correction and gradually increase only if necessary.
  • This collar is a training tool, not a punishment device. Use it responsibly and in conjunction with positive reinforcement training methods.
  • Ensure the contact points are clean and dry before placing the collar on your dog.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Testing the Static Function

Use the provided test light tool to verify the static function. Place the test light over the contact points on the receiver collar and activate the static mode on the remote. The light will illuminate if the static function is working correctly.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the receiver collar and remote regularly with a damp cloth. Ensure the contact points are free of dirt and debris.

Battery Care

Charge the devices fully before first use. Recharge when the battery indicator shows low power. Avoid overcharging for extended periods. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

  • Collar not responding: Ensure both the remote and receiver are turned on and fully charged. Check if they are on the same channel.
  • Static correction not working: Verify the contact points are touching the dog's skin. Use the test light tool to confirm the static function is active. Adjust fur if necessary.
  • Short battery life: Ensure devices are fully charged. Battery life can vary based on usage frequency and intensity settings.
  • Skin irritation: Remove the collar immediately. Clean the area and consult a veterinarian. Ensure proper fit and wear duration.
