Setup
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove all plastic bags and protective materials.
2. Filter Installation
The filter is typically pre-installed but may be sealed in plastic for freshness. Ensure the plastic wrapping is removed before first use.
- Turn the unit upside down and locate the filter cover.
- Twist the filter cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the filter from the unit and unwrap any plastic packaging.
- Insert the unwrapped filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.
3. Placement
For optimal performance, place the air purifier in a location where air can circulate freely.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Avoid placing it directly against a wall or under furniture that might obstruct airflow.
- Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space around all sides of the unit.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Fan Speed Adjustment
The main control knob manages both power and fan speed.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and then into the air purifier.
- To turn the unit ON, rotate the knob clockwise from the 'OFF' position.
- Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the fan speed. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the fan speed.
- To turn the unit OFF, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position.
2. Night Light Function
The night light provides ambient illumination and can be adjusted.
- Press the touch-sensitive 'Dimming Button' (light bulb icon) once to turn on the night light. It will cycle through colors.
- Press the button again to pause on a specific color.
- Press the button a third time to turn off the night light.
- The night light operates independently of the air purification function.
3. Aromatherapy Function
Add essential oils to the designated sponge for a pleasant fragrance.
- Locate the essential oil box/fragrance sponge holder on the front grille of the unit.
- Gently pull out the essential oil box.
- Add 2-3 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the sponge. Do not overfill.
- Slide the essential oil box back into its slot.
- The fragrance will diffuse as the air purifier operates.
Maintenance
1. Filter Replacement
The filter should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage and air quality. A filter replacement indicator light (if present) will illuminate when replacement is due.
- Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
- Turn the unit upside down and remove the filter cover by twisting counter-clockwise.
- Remove the old filter.
- Insert a new Jafanda 3-in-1 composite filter (ASIN: B0BRQ3J5L6) into the unit. Ensure it is oriented correctly.
- Replace the filter cover and twist clockwise to lock.
- Plug in the unit. If there is a filter reset button (often indicated by a filter icon), press and hold it for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light resets.
2. Filter Cleaning (Pre-filter)
The pre-filter can be cleaned monthly to extend the life of the main filter.
- Unplug the air purifier.
- Remove the filter as described in 'Filter Replacement'.
- Gently vacuum the surface of the pre-filter to remove dust and large particles. Do not wash the HEPA or activated carbon layers with water.
- Reinstall the filter and secure the cover.
3. Exterior Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the unit as needed.
- Unplug the air purifier before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
