Maintenance

  • Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures optimal charging efficiency.
  • Clear Obstructions: Ensure no trees, buildings, or other objects obstruct direct sunlight from reaching the solar panel.
  • Waterproof Integrity: Periodically check all connections and covers to ensure they remain tightly sealed, maintaining the IP65 waterproof rating.

Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on at night:
    • Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the solar panel is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify the solar panel is receiving at least 8-12 hours of direct sunlight daily. Relocate if necessary.
    • Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure.
    • Confirm there are no external light sources (e.g., streetlights) near the solar panel that might prevent the light sensor from activating.
  • Light duration is short:
    • Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
    • The battery may not be fully charged due to insufficient sunlight. Allow for more charging time, especially during cloudy weather or winter months.
    • Consider switching to Low Brightness mode for extended operation.
