3. Setup

3.1 First Use

1. Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line.
2. Boil the water.
3. Discard the boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
4. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.

3.2 Filling the Kettle

• Press the lid release button on the handle to open the lid. The lid opens to a 45-degree angle for safe steam release, and can be manually lifted to 75 degrees for easier filling and cleaning.
• Fill the kettle with fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN (0.5L) mark or above the MAX (1.5L) mark indicated inside the kettle.
• Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Place the kettle securely on its power base. Ensure the kettle is properly seated.
2. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Push the power switch/lever down to begin boiling. The indicator light will illuminate.
4. The kettle will automatically shut off once the water has reached a rolling boil, and the indicator light will turn off.
5. Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water. The cool-touch exterior ensures safe handling.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• To clean the interior and remove mineral deposits (limescale), fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, then boil the mixture. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
• Do not immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.

6. Troubleshooting

• Kettle does not turn on: Ensure the kettle is properly plugged into a working outlet and contains water above the MIN line. The boil-dry protection prevents operation without sufficient water.
• Water does not boil: Check if the power switch is fully engaged. Ensure the kettle is securely placed on its base.
• Unusual taste in water: Perform the first-use cleaning steps (boiling and discarding water with vinegar) to remove any residual tastes. Ensure you are using clean, fresh water.
