1. Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference.

3. Setup

Unboxing and Initial Cleaning:

  1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the coffee maker.
  2. Wash the glass carafe, lid, and reusable filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

First Use (Cleaning Cycle):

Before brewing coffee for the first time, run a cleaning cycle to remove any manufacturing residues.

  1. Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the MAX level.
  2. Place the empty filter basket (without coffee) into its holder.
  3. Place the empty glass carafe on the heating plate.
  4. Press the ON/OFF button to start a brewing cycle.
  5. Once the cycle is complete, discard the water from the carafe. The appliance is now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee with Whole Beans:

  1. Open the lid of the bean hopper and fill it with whole coffee beans (max 230g). Close the lid securely.
  2. Adjust the grinding level using the dial on the bean hopper (7 levels available).
  3. Fill the water tank with fresh water to your desired level, corresponding to the number of cups you wish to brew.
  4. Place the reusable filter into the filter basket.
  5. Place the glass carafe on the heating plate.
  6. Select the desired number of cups (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) using the control panel.
  7. Choose your preferred coffee intensity (3 settings available) using the intensity button.
  8. Press the ON/OFF button to start the brewing process. The machine will grind the beans and then brew the coffee.

Brewing Coffee with Ground Coffee:

  1. Ensure the bean hopper is empty.
  2. Fill the water tank with fresh water to your desired level.
  3. Place the reusable filter into the filter basket and add the appropriate amount of ground coffee.
  4. Place the glass carafe on the heating plate.
  5. Select the desired number of cups and coffee intensity.
  6. Press the ON/OFF button to start brewing.

Using the 24-Hour Programmable Timer:

  1. Prepare the coffee maker with water and coffee (beans or ground) as described above.
  2. Press the 'PROG' button on the control panel.
  3. Use the 'H' (Hour) and 'M' (Minute) buttons to set the desired brewing time.
  4. Confirm the setting by pressing 'PROG' again or waiting a few seconds. The display will show the current time and a timer icon.
  5. The coffee maker will automatically start brewing at the programmed time.

Keep Warm Function:

After brewing, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the keep warm function, maintaining the coffee's temperature for a period before automatically shutting off.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee maker.

Daily Cleaning:

  1. Unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Remove the glass carafe, lid, and reusable filter. Wash them with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Clean the heating plate with a damp cloth.

Descaling:

Depending on water hardness, descaling should be performed regularly (e.g., every 2-3 months) to prevent mineral buildup.

  1. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar and water, or a commercial descaler) according to the descaler's instructions.
  2. Place the empty filter basket and carafe in position.
  3. Run a brewing cycle without coffee.
  4. After the cycle, discard the descaling solution.
  5. Run 2-3 cycles with fresh water to rinse the appliance thoroughly.

6. Troubleshooting
