- Never blend hot liquids, as pressure buildup can cause the container to burst.
- Do not operate the blender with an empty jar.
- Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your blender for first use:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the portable glass, blade assembly, and lid with warm soapy water before first use. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Position: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Add Ingredients: Fill the portable glass with your desired ingredients. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (600 ml). For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
- Attach Blade Assembly: Screw the blade assembly firmly onto the open end of the portable glass until it is securely tightened.
- Mount Glass: Invert the portable glass (with blade assembly attached) and place it onto the motor base. Twist clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure it is properly seated before operating.

Tips for Best Results:
- For thicker mixtures, you may need to pulse the blender by pressing and releasing the button repeatedly.
- If ingredients get stuck, unplug the blender, remove the glass, shake it gently, and re-attach before continuing.
- Do not continuously operate the blender for more than 60 seconds at a time. Allow it to rest for a few minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your blender:
- Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
- Portable Glass, Blade Assembly, and Lid: These non-electric parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades carefully.
- Stubborn Residue: For stubborn residue in the portable glass, fill it with warm water and a drop of dish soap, attach the blade assembly, and blend for a few seconds. Then rinse thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the blender in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your blender, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blender does not turn on. | Not plugged in; glass not properly seated; power outage. | Ensure the blender is securely plugged in. Twist the portable glass clockwise until it locks into the motor base. Check your power supply. |
| Ingredients are not blending smoothly. | Too little liquid; too many ingredients; ingredients are too large. | Add more liquid. Reduce the amount of ingredients. Cut larger ingredients into smaller pieces. Pulse the blender. |
| Blender stops during operation. | Overheating; motor overload. | Unplug the blender and let it cool down for at least 15 minutes. Reduce the load or add more liquid before restarting. |
| Leakage from the portable glass. | Blade assembly not tightened; lid not secured. | Ensure the blade assembly is screwed tightly onto the portable glass. Make sure the leak-proof lid is properly closed when carrying. |
If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact Cecotec customer support.
