Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your REDLIRO Walking Pad.
A. Cleaning
- Always unplug the walking pad before cleaning.
- Wipe down the surface with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the area under the walking pad clean to prevent dust and debris from accumulating.
B. Belt Lubrication
The walking belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. The frequency depends on usage:
- Light use (less than 3 hours/week): Every 5-6 months
- Moderate use (3-5 hours/week): Every 3-4 months
- Heavy use (more than 5 hours/week): Every 1-2 months
To lubricate:
- Unplug the walking pad.
- Lift one side of the walking belt.
- Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant (not included, but commonly available for treadmills) in a Z-pattern on the deck under the belt.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Plug in the walking pad and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1 KM/H) for 5 minutes to distribute the lubricant.
C. Belt Adjustment
If the walking belt starts to shift to one side or slips, it may need adjustment. Use the included tool kit.
- Belt Centering: If the belt drifts to the left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise a quarter turn. If it drifts to the right, turn the right rear roller bolt clockwise a quarter turn. Run the treadmill for a minute and re-check. Adjust gradually until centered.
- Belt Tension: If the belt slips during use, it may be too loose. Turn both left and right rear roller bolts clockwise a quarter turn simultaneously. Test the belt. Repeat if necessary, but do not overtighten.
