Introduction
The Nerf Rival Forerunner XXIII-1200 Blaster is a high-precision blaster designed for advanced battling. It features an adjustable rear sight for precise aiming and a streamlined barrel for enhanced performance. This blaster uses specially designed Accu-Rounds with an improved aerodynamic design and dimple pattern, enabling more stable flight.
It is a breech-loading, pump-action blaster with a 12-Accu-Round capacity, capable of firing rounds at speeds up to 90 feet per second. The Forerunner XXIII-1200 comes equipped with an edge-glow front sight and a sliding rear sight for fine-tuning your aiming precision. It includes 12 high-impact Accu-Rounds that are compatible with all Nerf Rival Series blasters. For safety, the blaster includes a trigger lock to prevent accidental firing.

Setup and Loading
Follow these steps to prepare your blaster for use.
- Unlock the Trigger: Slide the trigger lock forward to unlock the trigger. When storing the blaster or not in use, always slide the trigger lock backward to lock it.
- Prime the Blaster: Pull the pump-action grip all the way back. This will open the breech.

- Close the Breech: Push the pump-action grip all the way forward until it clicks into place. The breech will close, and the ready indicator will show that the blaster is primed.

Firing the Blaster
- Ensure the blaster is loaded and primed as described in the "Setup and Loading" section.
- Aim the blaster at your target.

Adjusting the Sight

- Align the front sight with the center of the rear sight.
- If your shots are not hitting the target, slide the knob on the rear sight forward or backward to adjust its position and improve accuracy.

Maintenance
Storing Your Blaster
Always store your blaster with the trigger lock engaged to prevent accidental firing. Do not store the blaster in a loaded or primed state.
Keep the blaster away from pets.
Troubleshooting
Clearing a Jam
If the blaster jams or the pump-action grip becomes stuck, follow these steps to clear the jam:
- Slide the reset switch downwards.
- Pull the pump-action grip all the way back to remove the jammed round from the breech.
- Push the pump-action grip all the way forward to close the breech.
CAUTION: When removing a round, be careful not to point the blaster at yourself or others.
