Choosing Placement

Select a suitable location for your bakers rack. Consider proximity to electrical outlets if you plan to use the integrated power strip. Ensure the surface is level and stable.

Installing Wheels or Feet

  • For Mobility: Screw the lockable wheels into the designated holes at the bottom of the rack. Ensure they are securely tightened. To move the rack, unlock the wheels. To keep it stationary, lock the wheels.
  • For Stationary Use: Screw the adjustable screw-in feet into the designated holes. Adjust each foot individually to level the rack on uneven surfaces.

Connecting Power

Plug the bakers rack's power cord into a standard wall outlet. Use the switch on the power strip to turn power on or off to the integrated outlets.

Operating Instructions

Utilizing Storage Space

  • Open Shelves: Use the open shelves for frequently accessed items, decorative pieces, or small appliances like microwaves, toasters, or coffee makers. Distribute weight evenly.
  • Storage Cabinet: Store items requiring concealment or protection from dust in the cabinet. Adjust the internal shelf height as needed by repositioning the shelf supports.
  • Hooks: Utilize the S-shaped hooks for utensils, the side hooks for towels, and the cup hooks for mugs or small hanging items.

Using Power Outlets

Plug your small kitchen appliances or electronic devices directly into the 3 AC outlets on the side of the rack. Use the red switch to control power to all three outlets simultaneously. Ensure the total power draw does not exceed the rated capacity of the power strip.

Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your bakers rack.

  • Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Anti-Toppling Device: Regularly inspect the wall anchor to ensure it is securely fastened and the rack remains stable.

Troubleshooting

  • Rack is Wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all screws are tightened. If using adjustable feet, adjust them to compensate for uneven flooring. Verify the anti-toppling device is properly installed.
  • Power Outlets Not Working:
Solution: Check if the main power cord is securely plugged into a wall outlet. Ensure the switch on the power strip is in the 'ON' position. If the issue persists, check your home's circuit breaker.
  • Difficulty Assembling:
Solution: Review the assembly instructions carefully, paying close attention to diagrams and part numbers. Ensure parts are oriented correctly. Do not force components together.
