Setup and Installation
Unpacking and Placement
The Mont Alpi MAi400-DBEV outdoor kitchen island arrives almost fully assembled. Modular attachments may require minor assembly. Ensure the unit is placed on a level, stable surface with adequate clearance from combustible materials.
Gas Connection
The grill is configured for propane use and includes a propane hose and regulator. For natural gas conversion, a Mont Alpi Natural Gas Conversion Kit (sold separately) is required. Grill Operation
Igniting the Main Burners
- Ensure the grill lid is open.
- Turn all main burner control knobs to the "OFF" position.
- Open the gas supply valve on your propane tank or natural gas line.
- Push and turn one main burner control knob to the "HIGH" position.
- Press and hold the electronic ignition button until the burner ignites.
- Once ignited, release the ignition button and adjust the flame to your desired cooking temperature.
- Repeat for other main burners as needed.
Using the Infrared Side Burner
- Lift the side burner cover.
- Ensure the side burner control knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Push and turn the side burner control knob to the "HIGH" position.
- Press and hold the electronic ignition button until the burner ignites.
- Adjust the flame as required for searing, pan frying, or boiling.
Using the Rotisserie Burner
- Ensure the rotisserie burner control knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Mount the rotisserie rod with food securely onto the rotisserie motor.
- Plug in the 110V rotisserie motor.
- Push and turn the rotisserie burner control knob to the "HIGH" position.
- Press and hold the electronic ignition button until the burner ignites.
- Monitor cooking and adjust heat as necessary.
