  • USB 3.2 Gen 1 Ports (4x): Connect your USB keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripherals (e.g., flash drives, webcams). These ports support data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps.

  • REMOTE Port: Connect the included remote port selector button for easy switching between connected computers.
  • DisplayPort OUTPUT: Connect your DisplayPort monitor. Supports resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160) at 60Hz.
  • USB-C Host 1 Port (up to 100W PD): Connect your first USB-C computer. This port supports video, data, and power delivery up to 100W for charging your connected device.
  • USB-C Host 2 Port (up to 15W): Connect your second USB-C computer. This port supports video and data, with limited power delivery (up to 15W).
  • DC12V Power Input: Connect the provided 12V power adapter to power the KVM switch.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your IOGEAR KVM switch:

  1. Power Off Devices: Ensure all computers and the monitor are powered off before making connections.
  2. Connect Monitor: Connect your DisplayPort monitor to the KVM's DisplayPort OUTPUT.
  3. Connect Peripherals: Connect your USB keyboard, mouse, and any other USB peripherals to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Ports on the front of the KVM.
  4. Connect Computers:
    • Connect your first USB-C computer to the USB-C Host 1 Port using a USB-C to USB-C cable. If your computer supports Power Delivery, this port can also charge it.
    • Connect your second USB-C computer to the USB-C Host 2 Port using a USB-C to USB-C cable.
  5. Connect Remote Switch: Plug the remote port selector button into the REMOTE Port.
  6. Apply Power: Connect the provided 12V power adapter to the DC12V Power Input on the KVM, then plug it into a power outlet.
  7. Power On Devices: Power on your monitor, then power on your connected computers.

To switch between the two connected computers, press the remote port selector button. The KVM will switch the DisplayPort video, USB keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripherals to the selected computer.

6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KVM switch, follow these maintenance guidelines:
