Setup and Installation

Proper installation ensures optimal performance of your MEIKEE Solar Light. Follow these steps for setup:

  1. Initial Charging: Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the light via the USB-C port for approximately 3 hours. This ensures the built-in 4000mAh battery is at full capacity for initial operation.
  2. Solar Panel Placement: Choose a location for the solar panel that receives direct sunlight for 6-8 hours daily. Avoid shaded areas from trees, buildings, or other obstructions. The solar panel cable length is approximately 4.5 meters (14.76 feet), allowing flexibility in placement.
  3. Light Fixture Placement: Install the light fixture in your desired indoor or outdoor location. The light can be hung using the integrated hook. Ensure the location allows for the 270° adjustable lighting area to cover your desired space.
  4. Connect Components: Connect the solar panel cable to the light fixture. Ensure the connection is secure and the waterproof wire connector is properly sealed.
  5. Adjust Light Blades: The four lighting blades on the main fixture are adjustable up to 90° independently. Adjust them to direct light where needed.

  • ON/OFF: Power the light on or off.
  • Light Control Mode (50% Brightness): Activates a constant 50% brightness mode for the entire night.
  • Induction Mode 1: Light is off, then turns to 100% brightness when motion is detected at night.
  • Induction Mode 2: Light is 30% dim, then turns to 100% brightness when motion is detected at night.
  • Induction Mode 3 (24H): Light is off, then turns to 100% brightness when motion is detected at any time (day or night).
  • Color Temperature Adjustment: Buttons for 2700K (Warm White), 4000K (Natural White), and 6500K (Cool White) for quick selection. Use the up/down arrows for stepless adjustment between 2700K and 6500K.
  • Timing Function: Set the light to stay on for 2H, 3H, or 4H under the light control mode.

Lighting Modes

The light offers 6 distinct lighting modes, providing flexibility for various needs. Modes 1 and 5 have a memory function, retaining the last setting.

  • Mode 1 (Dusk to Dawn): Automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn. (Memory Function)
  • Mode 2 (Dim to Bright Motion Sensor): Light is dim at night, brightens to full intensity for 30 seconds when motion is detected, then returns to dim.
  • Mode 3 (Off to Bright Motion Sensor): Light is off at night, brightens to full intensity for 30 seconds when motion is detected, then turns off.
  • Mode 4 (24H Induction Mode): Light is off, brightens to full intensity for 30 seconds when motion is detected, regardless of day or night.
  • Mode 5 (Timed Constant On): Automatically turns on at night and stays on for a set duration (2H/3H/4H), then turns off. (Memory Function)
  • Mode 6 (Constant On): Stays on at 85% brightness for 2 hours, usable during the day or night.

Color Temperature Adjustment

The light offers a wide range of color temperatures to suit different preferences and environments. You can quickly select preset temperatures or fine-tune them.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps prolong the lifespan and ensure optimal performance of your MEIKEE Solar Light.

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and light fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean solar panel ensures efficient charging. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: The built-in 4000mAh Lithium Polymer battery is designed for long-term use. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time (e.g., shorter illumination duration), it may indicate the battery's end of life. Consult the manufacturer for battery replacement options if needed.
  • Weather Resistance: The light is constructed from high-density ABS and waterproof materials (IP54 rated), making it resistant to harsh weather conditions. However, ensure the solar panel connection is always secure and sealed to prevent water ingress.
