Setup

Setting up your HelloBaby Monitor is a simple plug-and-play process. Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Power on Camera: Connect the Baby Unit (camera) to a power outlet using its adapter. The camera needs to be plugged in at all times for operation.
2. Power on Parent Unit: Connect the Parent Unit (monitor) to a power outlet using its adapter. The parent unit has a rechargeable battery for mobility, but it's recommended to charge it fully before first use.
3. Initial Pairing: For the initial connection, keep the monitor and camera within 1 meter (approximately 3 feet) of each other. The units are pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed, open the parent unit menu, select "Camera" and press "OK", then press the "PAIR" button on the camera.
4. Positioning: Place the Baby Unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. It can be placed upright on a desktop or mounted on a wall for enhanced viewing angles. Ensure it is out of reach of children.
