Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Anker 364 USB-C Hub, follow these general maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the hub clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid liquid cleaners.
  • Store the hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping the hub or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the hub, as this will void the warranty.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Anker 364 USB-C Hub, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Display Output:
    • Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
    • Check that the HDMI cables are securely connected to both the hub and the monitors.
    • Verify that your monitors are set to the correct input source.
    • For macOS users, remember that both external monitors will display identical content.
  • Laptop Not Charging:
    • Confirm that a power adapter is connected to the hub's USB-C PD-IN port. A charger is not included with the hub.
    • Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports Power Delivery.
    • Note that the 5Gbps USB-C data port does not support charging, only data transmission.
  • Slow Data Transfer:
    • Ensure you are using the 5 Gbps USB-C or USB-A data ports for high-speed devices. The two 480 Mbps USB-A ports are for standard devices like keyboards and mice.
    • Check the cables and devices connected for any limitations.
  • Ethernet Connection Issues:
    • Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the hub and your router/modem.
    • Check your network settings on your laptop.
  • Hub Overheating:
    • It is normal for the hub to become warm during heavy use, especially when charging or driving multiple displays.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation around the hub.
