5. Setup and Installation
The DEALGADGETS ceiling light is designed for easy flush-mount installation on most standard junction boxes. No electrician is typically required for basic installation.
Installation Steps:
- Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Attach the Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to your ceiling's junction box using the provided screws. The humanized base design is compatible with 99% of junction boxes.
- Connect the Wires: Connect the household electrical wires to the fixture's wires. Typically, connect the black (live) wire from the ceiling to the black wire of the fixture, and the white (neutral) wire from the ceiling to the white wire of the fixture. Use the included wire nuts to secure connections. Ensure no bare wires are exposed.
- Mount the Fixture: Align the light fixture with the mounting bracket. Gently push the fixture upwards and rotate it clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely mounted, restore power at the circuit breaker.
