4.2. Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Install the Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge. Ensure the arrow on the latch is facing upwards. If your door's backset is 70mm, rotate the latch 180 degrees and extend its length. Secure the latch with screws.
  2. Install the Strike Plate: Align and secure the strike plate on the door frame with screws.
  3. Install the Exterior Assembly: Route the cable from the exterior keypad assembly through the door hole. Ensure the spindle is horizontal and correctly aligned with the latch mechanism.
  4. Install the Mounting Plate: Route the cable through the hole on the bottom of the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the door with screws.
  5. Install the Interior Assembly: Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly. Carefully tuck the excess cable into the door. Align the interior assembly with the mounting plate and secure it.
