3. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure the battery voltage and dimensions are compatible with your electric bicycle. The battery dimensions are approximately 361mm x 92mm x 90mm.
3.1 Mounting the Battery
The battery features a robust aluminum cover with a dedicated guide rail for easy installation and removal. Secure the mounting rail to your e-bike frame using appropriate fasteners (not included, typically part of the e-bike kit).
- Attach the mounting rail securely to your e-bike frame.
- Slide the battery onto the mounting rail until it clicks into place.
- Use the provided key to lock the battery to the frame. This mechanical lock helps protect against theft.

3.2 Connecting the Battery
The battery is equipped with a discharge socket and a power switch.

- Discharge Socket: Connect the discharge cable (JST interface) from the battery to your e-bike controller's power cable. The red wire is for positive (+), and the black wire is for negative (-).
- Power Switch: The power switch is located near the charge socket. "O" indicates power off, and "-" indicates power on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Charging the Battery
Use only the provided 42V 2A charger. The charge current for the charge socket should not exceed 5 amps.
- Ensure the battery is turned off before charging.
- Connect the charger to the battery's charge socket.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 8 hours.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery and then from the wall outlet.
4.2 Checking Battery Level
The battery is equipped with a battery level indicator light.

Press the power button on the battery to illuminate the battery level lights, providing an instant visual indication of the remaining charge.
4.3 Powering On/Off
Use the power switch located near the charge socket to turn the battery on or off. Set to "-" for power on and "O" for power off.
5. Maintenance and Care
- Regular Charging: If the battery is not in use, charge it every three months to prevent deep discharge and prolong its lifespan.
- Storage: Store the battery in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cleaning: Wipe the battery exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning agents.

- Discharge Temperature: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)

- BMS Protection: The intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) prevents overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuits, ensuring a long service life.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your YOSE POWER battery, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
