2. Safety Instructions
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the appliance:

4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Check that all components listed in Section 3 are present and undamaged. Keep packaging for future transport if needed.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, portafilter, filters, capsule adapter, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX level indicator. Do not use hot water or other liquids.
- Place the water tank back into its position, ensuring it is securely seated.
4.4 Priming the Machine (First Use)
Before making coffee, the machine needs to be primed to fill the internal system with water and remove any air.
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place an empty cup under the portafilter outlet.
- Turn on the machine. The indicator light will flash as it heats up.
- Once the light is steady, press the coffee brewing button to dispense water. Let it run for about 30 seconds.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam for about 15 seconds.
- Close the steam knob. The machine is now primed and ready for use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Espresso (Ground Coffee)
- Ensure the machine is on and heated (indicator light steady).
- Insert the desired filter (single or double shot) into the portafilter.
- Add ground coffee to the filter. Use the dosing spoon to measure and the tamper to press the coffee firmly. Do not overfill.
- Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and turning it to the right until secure.
- Place one or two cups on the drip tray under the portafilter outlets.
- Press the single or double coffee button to start brewing. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.
- To manually stop brewing, press the button again.
- After brewing, carefully remove the portafilter (it will be hot) and discard the used coffee grounds.

5.2 Using Coffee Capsules
Your machine includes an adapter for aluminum coffee capsules.
- Ensure the machine is on and heated.
- Place an aluminum capsule into the capsule adapter.
- Insert the capsule adapter into the portafilter.
- Attach the portafilter with the capsule adapter to the brewing head.
- Place a cup under the outlet.
- Press the desired coffee button to start brewing.
- After brewing, carefully remove the portafilter and discard the used capsule.

5.3 Frothing Milk
The swiveling steam wand allows you to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes.
- Fill a pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third of the pitcher.
- Turn the steam knob to the steam position. The machine will heat up to produce steam.
- Once the steam indicator light is steady, position the steam wand just below the surface of the milk in the pitcher.
- Slowly lower the pitcher as the milk froths, keeping the tip of the wand just below the surface to create a vortex.
- Continue until the desired foam consistency and temperature are reached.
- Turn off the steam knob and immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.

5.4 Hot Water Dispensing
The machine can also dispense hot water for tea or other hot beverages.
- Ensure the machine is on and heated.
- Place a cup under the steam wand.
- Turn the steam knob to the hot water position (if available, otherwise use the steam function briefly).
- Dispense the desired amount of hot water.
- Turn off the steam knob.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray after each use or when the indicator floats up. Wash with warm soapy water.
- Portafilter and Filters: Remove and rinse the portafilter and filters immediately after use to prevent coffee residue buildup.
- Steam Wand: Wipe the steam wand immediately after frothing milk with a damp cloth. Periodically, remove the tip and clean any milk residue with a small brush.
- Water Tank: Rinse the water tank daily and refill with fresh water.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Descaling
Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months. Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines.
- Prepare the descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions and pour it into the water tank.
- Place a large container under the portafilter and steam wand.
- Turn on the machine and allow it to heat up.
- Run approximately half of the solution through the coffee outlet by pressing the coffee button.
- Open the steam knob and run the remaining solution through the steam wand.
- Turn off the machine and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
- Repeat steps 3-5 with fresh water to rinse the internal system completely.
