Parts and Components

The appliance consists of the following parts:

Before Use

Remove all packaging materials and stickers. Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. Contact Technical Support Service immediately if any damage is observed.

First Cleaning

Fill the water tank to the MAX mark. Insert the filter into the funnel and assemble the portafilter. Ensure the portafilter is aligned with the lock drawing for safe assembly.

Plug in the device and press the power button. The machine will beep, and the 1 espresso and 2 espresso light indicators will turn on, indicating heating. Once the indicators are steady, press the 1 espresso button to start the cleaning process. Ensure the steam extraction knob is off.

For a more thorough cleaning, use a 1:4 solution of vinegar and water or a descaling product, followed by a rinse with water.

Operation

Fill the water tank without exceeding the MAX mark. Connect the coffee machine to a power supply and ensure the steam knob is in the off position.

Espresso

While the machine preheats, place the desired coffee filter in the portafilter, fill it with coffee powder, and press it down using the measuring spoon/tamper. Clean excess coffee from the filter's edge.

Insert the portafilter and lock it tightly.

Once the 1 espresso and 2 espresso light indicators are steady, press the desired coffee button to brew 1 or 2 coffees. Place an appropriate cup or cups under the coffee spout.

Milk Froth

Press the power button, then the steam button. The steam light indicator will remain steady when preheating is complete.

Fill a container with milk (approximately 1/3 full). Use cold whole milk for optimal results.

Release some steam before frothing. Insert the steam tube about 1 cm into the milk and slowly turn the steam knob counterclockwise until steam is released.

When milk temperature rises and froth volume increases, turn the steam knob clockwise to the 0 position and press the steam button to stop the function.

Warning: Clean the steam exit with a wet sponge immediately after use. Remove the steam tube and clean its inside. Emitting steam again can help clean any remaining milk inside the tube.

Hot Water

Turn the steam knob to the water position to dispense hot water. Turn the knob back to 0 to deactivate.

Memory Function

Once the machine has preheated and indicators are steady, hold down the 1 espresso button. When the desired amount of coffee is brewed, release the button. The machine will emit a sound to confirm the quantity has been saved. The default brewing time is 60 seconds.

To save a larger espresso or 2 espressos, use the 2 coffee button instead.

Factory Settings

To restore factory settings, hold the 1 coffee button and the steam button for 3 seconds. A beep will confirm the reset.

Device Cooling Process

After steaming or brewing, the device temperature may increase significantly. The 1 and 2 coffees indicator lights will blink quickly, indicating the device needs to cool down.

To cool down: Rotate the steam knob to the water position for a few seconds. When indicator lights flash slowly, turn the steam knob to 0. When the power light indicators are steady, the device is ready for use.

Note: The coffee maker has an auto-off safety system that activates after 25 minutes of non-operation.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Disconnect the device from power and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Use a soft, dampened cloth for the exterior. Do not immerse the main body in water or other liquids.

Wash the water tank, drip tray, and cup holder tray regularly. Clean the steam tube immediately after use with a cloth, being careful not to get burned. Allow steam to be released to avoid blockages.

If the steam tube is clogged, use a needle to unblock it. Remove and empty the portafilter, clean it with water and a cloth. Do not wash it in the dishwasher. Clean all parts with water and dry thoroughly.

Cleaning Mineral Deposits or Descaling

Mineral deposits can affect machine operation. Descale regularly. The frequency depends on water quality and usage.

Recommended descaling: Fill the water tank with water and descaling product (or vinegar) up to the MAX level in a 4:1 proportion (water:descaler). Repeat with water only to remove any residue.

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause Solution
Coffee does not come out No water in tank. Add water.
Coffee grind is too fine. Grind medium-ground coffee.
Too much coffee in the filter. Fill filter with less coffee.
Device not turned on or connected to power supply. Connect the unit to a power supply and turn it on.
Coffee has been tamped/compressed too much. Refill the filter basket with coffee, do not tamp too much.
No water/steam. No water in the water tank or it is not installed properly. Fill the tank with water and turn on the device.
The machine is not preheated. The machine needs to be preheated before coffee can be brewed. Once preheated, the light indicator will turn on.
Coffee comes out around the edge of the portafilter. Portafilter not rotated to full lock position. Rotate filter holder to full lock position.
Ground coffee on the edge of the filter. Wipe off the rim.
Too much coffee in the filter. Fill with less coffee.
Coffee is too light. Coffee is not enough ground or the grounds are not pressed enough. Replace the coffee powder and flatten it with the measuring spoon/coffee tamper.
No steam. Steam tube is blocked. Use a small wire through the steam hole and make sure to clean the tube after each use. Turn the steam knob to the steam position and wait for the preheating process to complete.
The steam knob is not set to the required position or preheating is not completed. Turn the steam knob to the steam position and wait for the preheating process to complete.
Coffee is not brewed well. Too much or too little coffee powder. 1 cup of coffee requires 1 coffee spoon, pressed down. Coffee powder should not be too thick or too fine. Too thick coffee may not extract completely; too fine will affect the amount and quality of coffee.

The steam function has been activated before the light indicator has turned on. Steam can only be released after the steam indicator light changes from flashing to steady light.
