1. Safety Information
Read all instructions before assembly and use of the BABY JOY 5-in-1 Pack and Play. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
- Suffocation Hazard: Infants can suffocate in gaps between an extra mattress and the side of the playard, or on soft bedding. Use only the mattress pad provided by the manufacturer. Never add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
- Strangulation Hazard: Strings and cords can cause strangulation. Keep cords and strings away from the playard. Never place the playard near a window where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
- Fall Hazard: When a child is able to pull to a standing position, remove the bassinet. The playard is intended for children unable to climb out, less than 36 inches (91 cm) tall, and weighing less than 33 pounds (15 kg).
- Assembly: Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and locked before use. Regularly check for loose or damaged parts.
- Bedside Sleeper Use: When used as a bedside sleeper, always attach the safety strap to your adult bed to prevent separation. Ensure there are no gaps between the sleeper and the adult mattress.
- Diaper Changer: Never leave a child unattended on the diaper changing table. Always use the safety strap if provided.
- Supervision: Always supervise your child when they are in the playard or using any of its features.
2. Product Overview

3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to correctly assemble your BABY JOY 5-in-1 Pack and Play. Ensure all components are present before beginning assembly.
- Unpack Components: Remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
- Initial Unfolding:
- Keep the bed standing vertically.
- Open the short armrests until they lock into place.
- Open the long armrests until they lock into place.
- Press down the center of the bottom until it is flat and secure.
Important Note: Only when the four sides are locked can the middle be pressed down. If you lock the middle part first, it will prevent the four sides from locking properly.

- Install Bassinet (for infants): If using the bassinet feature, securely attach the bassinet insert according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all clips and fasteners are engaged.
- Attach Diaper Changing Table: Secure the U-shaped diaper changing table to the designated attachment points on the playard. Ensure it is stable and level.
- Attach Hanging Toys/Music Box: Mount the mobile arm with hanging toys and music box to the side of the playard.
- Storage Rack: Attach the side storage rack for easy access to baby essentials.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Using as a Bedside Sleeper
To use the unit as a bedside sleeper, lower one of the side guardrails and position the playard next to your adult bed. This allows for co-sleeping while maintaining a separate, safe sleep space for your baby.
- Lowering the Side Rail: Unzip the side panel and press the release buttons on the side rail to lower it.
- Adjusting Height: The playard features adjustable height settings. Press the adjustment buttons on the legs to match the height of your adult bed.
- Securing with Safety Strap: Always use the provided safety strap to connect the playard to your adult bed frame. This prevents any gap from forming between the playard and your bed.

4.2. Using the Diaper Changing Table
The U-shaped diaper changing table provides a convenient and secure surface for diaper changes.
- Ensure the changing table is securely attached to the playard frame.
- Always keep one hand on your baby while using the changing table. Never leave your baby unattended.
- The changing table is detachable for easy cleaning or when not in use.

4.3. Side Zipper Entrance (for toddlers)
For older babies and toddlers, the side zipper entrance allows them to crawl in and out independently, transforming the unit into an activity center or playpen.
- Unzip the side panel to open the entrance.
- Ensure the zipper is fully closed when the child is inside and unsupervised to prevent accidental exit.
4.4. Lockable Wheels
The playard is equipped with two universal wheels with brakes for easy mobility and stability.
- To move the playard, unlock the wheels.
- To secure the playard in place, engage the wheel brakes.

4.5. Folding for Storage and Transport
The playard can be quickly folded for compact storage or transport in the included carry bag.
- Remove the bassinet, changing table, and any accessories.
- Lift the center of the bottom to release the locking mechanism.
- Pull up on the side rails to disengage the locks, then fold them inwards.
- Collapse the playard into its compact form.
- Place the folded playard into the carry bag.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your BABY JOY 5-in-1 Pack and Play.
- Cleaning Fabric Parts: Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe down fabric surfaces. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. Allow to air dry completely.
- Cleaning Frame: Wipe the metal and plastic parts of the frame with a damp cloth.
- Mattress Pad: The mattress pad can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight and secure. Inspect the mesh for any tears or holes.
- Storage: When not in use, store the playard in a clean, dry place, preferably in its carry bag, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
