  3. Secure External Plate: From the exterior side of the door, secure the external plate of the lock using the appropriate screws. The provided screwdriver can be used for this step.
  4. Secure Internal Plate: From the interior side, attach the internal plate, ensuring it aligns with the external mechanism. Fasten with the remaining screws.
  5. Install Strike Plate: On the door frame, align the strike plate with the latch bolt and deadbolt. Mark and pre-drill holes if necessary, then secure the strike plate with screws.
  6. Test Functionality: Before closing the door, test the paddle handle, deadbolt, and key operation to ensure smooth and secure locking/unlocking.
