3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the drum kit.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (5V 2A recommended, not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. Allow the drum kit to charge fully before first use. The battery indicator on the control panel will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of playtime.

3.2 Connecting Pedals

  1. Identify the two foot pedals. One is for the Bass Drum (Kick Pedal) and the other for the Hi-Hat.
  2. Locate the corresponding pedal input jacks on the control panel of the drum kit.
  3. Insert the pedal cables firmly into their respective jacks.

3.3 Headphone Connection (Optional)

For silent practice, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the 'Speaker / Headphone' jack on the control panel. This will mute the built-in speakers.

3.4 External Audio Input (Optional)

To play along with music from an external device:

  • Bluetooth: Turn on the drum kit and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or audio device. Search for the drum kit's Bluetooth name (refer to the device's screen or manual for specific name) and pair. Audio from your device will play through the drum kit's speakers.
  • AUX Input: Use the provided 3.5mm AUX audio cable to connect your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, tablet) to the 'Audio Input' jack on the drum kit.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the control panel to turn the drum kit on or off.

4.2 Drum Pad Layout and Functions

The drum kit features 9 distinct pads, each producing a specific drum or cymbal sound:

  • Snare Drum: Central pad, typically for main beats.
  • High Drum (Tom 1), Low Drum (Tom 2), Floor Drum (Tom 3): For fills and rhythmic variations.
  • Open/Close Hi-Hat: Produces open or closed hi-hat sounds depending on the pedal.
  • Crash Cymbal (Left & Right): For accents and transitions.
  • Ride Cymbal: For sustained rhythmic patterns.
  • Bass Drum: Activated by the foot pedal.

Note: The strike force on the electric drum kit is uniform; the volume level does not change with the intensity of your strike.

4.3 Control Panel Functions

  • V+/V-: Adjusts the master volume.
  • T+/T-: Adjusts tempo (for demo songs/rhythms).
  • REC: Initiates recording of your drumming.
  • PLAY: Plays back your recorded performance.
  • RHY: Selects different rhythm patterns.
  • START/STOP: Starts or stops demo songs or rhythms.
  • DEMO: Cycles through built-in demo songs.
  • STYLE: Changes the drum kit sound style (e.g., rock, pop).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the silicone pads and control panel. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface.

5.2 Storage

The flexible silicone design allows the drum kit to be rolled up or folded for compact storage. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the battery indicator is low. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and recharge every few months.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure the drum kit is powered on and the volume is not set to minimum.
    • If headphones are connected, disconnect them to enable built-in speakers.
    • Check if an external audio device is connected via AUX or Bluetooth; ensure its volume is up.
  • Drum Kit Not Powering On:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the USB charging cable and try again.
    • Verify the USB cable and power adapter are functioning correctly.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues:
    • Ensure the drum kit's Bluetooth is active and discoverable.
    • Delete previous pairings on your audio device and try pairing again.
    • Move the audio device closer to the drum kit to ensure a strong signal.
  • Pads Not Responding:
    • Ensure the drum kit is powered on.
    • Check for any physical obstructions or damage to the pads.
