1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the COSTWAY Electric Fireplace TV Stand. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new product. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Important Safety Instructions:

  • An anti-tipping kit is required for installation. Secure the TV stand to the wall to prevent accidental tipping.
  • Do not overload shelves. Each shelf has a maximum load capacity of 44 lbs (20 kg).
  • The tabletop has a maximum load capacity of 200 lbs (90 kg).
  • Keep the unit away from water or excessive moisture.
  • Ensure proper ventilation when the electric fireplace is in operation. Do not block air vents.
  • The electric fireplace includes overheat protection. If the unit overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before restarting.
  • Always unplug the fireplace from the power outlet before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not operate the fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater has malfunctioned or been dropped/damaged.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater.

3. Setup and Assembly

The COSTWAY Electric Fireplace TV Stand requires assembly. Please refer to the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate user guide included in your package. Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.

3.1 Anti-Tipping Kit Installation

For safety, it is crucial to install the anti-tipping kit. Follow the instructions in your assembly guide to securely fasten the TV stand to a wall stud. This prevents the unit from accidentally tipping over, especially in households with children or pets.

3.2 TV Placement

The wide tabletop is designed to accommodate flat-screen TVs up to 70 inches. Ensure the TV is centered and stable on the stand. Do not exceed the tabletop's weight capacity of 200 lbs (90 kg).

4. Operation

4.1 Electric Fireplace Operation

The electric fireplace provides both heat and ambient flame effects. It can be controlled via the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel Functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the fireplace ON/OFF.
  • Heater Control: Adjusts the temperature setting (62-82°F). The fireplace provides 4777 BTU heat output, capable of heating an area up to 400 sq.ft (37 m²).
  • Flame Control (L1-L3): Cycles through 3 levels of adjustable flame brightness/intensity.
  • Timer Control (0.5-6H): Sets an automatic shut-off timer from 30 minutes to 6 hours.

Remote Control:

The remote control allows convenient operation from a distance of up to 20 feet. It requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). The buttons on the remote correspond to the functions on the control panel.

4.2 Storage and Organization

The TV stand features multiple storage options to keep your media accessories organized.

  • Enclosed Cabinets: Two side cabinets offer private storage. Each cabinet includes 3-level adjustable shelves, allowing you to customize the space for items of various heights.
  • Middle Open Shelf: Designed to house the electric fireplace, this shelf can also be used for other media devices or decorative items if the fireplace is not installed.
  • Cable Management Holes: Located on the back panel, these holes help route and organize power cords and audio/video cables, keeping them tidy and out of sight.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your TV stand and electric fireplace.

  • Cleaning the TV Stand: Wipe the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
  • Cleaning the Electric Fireplace: Ensure the fireplace is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Use a dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the glass panel, use a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not spray water directly onto the unit.
  • Ventilation: Periodically check that the heating vents are clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.

6. Troubleshooting
