Installation Guide

The Veise Keyless Entry Door Lock is designed for easy installation, typically requiring only a screwdriver. Follow these steps for a successful setup:

1. Prepare Your Door

Ensure your door is compatible with the lock's dimensions. This lock is compatible with standard US left and right-opening doors.

2. Install the Latch and Strike Plate

Insert the latch into the door edge, ensuring the correct backset. Secure it with the provided screws. Install the strike plate on the door frame, aligning it with the latch.

3. Install Exterior and Interior Assemblies

Route the cable from the exterior assembly through the door. Align the torque blade horizontally with the latch. Secure the exterior assembly and then connect the interior assembly, ensuring proper cable connection and alignment of the thumbturn.

4. Install Lever Handles

Attach the lever handles to both sides of the door, securing them with the mounting screws. Ensure smooth operation.

5. Battery Installation and Door Handing Detection

Keep the door open and unlocked. Load four AA batteries (not included) into the interior assembly. The lock will automatically detect the door's handing (left or right) and extend the latch. Install the battery cover.

Keyless Entry and User Codes

The lock supports up to twenty permanent PIN codes. You can easily add or delete user codes as needed. For temporary access, generate a one-time code that automatically deletes after a single use, ideal for guests or service providers.

Locking and Unlocking

• To Lock: Press any key on the keypad for two seconds to instantly lock the door from the outside.
• To Unlock: Enter your programmed PIN code on the backlit keypad.
• Auto-Lock: Set the door lock to automatically lock within 10-99 seconds after closing.
• Manual Lock/Unlock (Interior): Use the thumbturn on the interior assembly to manually lock or unlock the deadbolt.
• Backup Keys: Two emergency backup keys are provided for manual unlocking in case of battery failure or forgotten codes.

Special Modes
