Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Yabano Electric Meat Grinder MG412. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Household use only. Do not use for industrial purposes.
  • Unplug from outlet when assembling and disassembling the unit.
  • Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
  • Do not carry the unit by holding only the hopper plate.
  • Do not fix the cutting blade and cutting plate with the cutting edge outward.
  • Never feed food by hand. Always use the food pusher provided.
  • Do not grind hard food such as bones, nuts, or fibrous vegetables.
  • Do not grind ginger and other materials with hard fiber.
  • Continuous running of the meat grinder should not exceed 10 minutes. Allow a cool-down period between uses.
  • The reverse function is provided to clear blockages.
  • The locking knob ensures the head is securely fixed to the machine.
  • The meat grinder will turn off if overheating or overloading occurs.
  • Never put parts in the dishwasher or use hot water for cleaning.
  • After use, there might be a small amount of black metal powder around the head. This is normal and can be wiped clean.
  • Never try to replace the parts yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all parts are clean. Wash all removable parts in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Do not use hot water or a dishwasher for metal parts.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Attach the Grinder Head: Release the locking knob on the side of the motor housing. Insert the grinder head into the opening, ensuring it is aligned correctly. Secure it by turning the locking knob.
  2. Insert the Feed Screw: Place the feed screw into the grinder head.
  3. Install the Cutting Blade: Position the cutting blade onto the feed screw. Ensure the sharp edges face outwards, towards the cutting plate.
  4. Select and Attach Cutting Plate: Choose your desired cutting plate (fine, medium, or coarse) and place it over the cutting blade.
  5. Secure with Fixing Ring: Screw the fixing ring onto the grinder head until it is tight.
  6. Place the Hopper Plate: Position the hopper plate on top of the grinder head.
  7. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Meat Grinding:

  1. Prepare meat by cutting it into small pieces (approx. 1-inch cubes) that fit easily into the hopper. Remove any bones, tendons, or excessive fat.
  2. Place a bowl or container under the grinder outlet to collect the ground meat.
  3. Turn on the grinder using the power button.
  4. Feed the meat into the hopper using the food pusher. Never use your hands or fingers to push meat into the grinder.
  5. Once grinding is complete, turn off the appliance and unplug it.

Sausage Stuffing:

  1. Replace the cutting blade and cutting plate with the appropriate sausage stuffing attachment.
  2. Prepare your sausage mixture and casings.
  3. Feed the mixture into the hopper, guiding the casing onto the stuffing tube as it fills.
  4. Twist or tie the casing at desired intervals to form sausages.

Kubbe Making:

  1. Replace the cutting blade and cutting plate with the Kubbe attachment.
  2. Prepare your Kubbe mixture.
  3. Feed the mixture into the hopper. The attachment will form hollow tubes of meat.
  4. Cut the tubes to desired lengths and fill them as needed.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your meat grinder.

Cleaning Steps:

  1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  2. Disassemble all removable parts (hopper plate, grinder head, feed screw, cutting blade, cutting plate, fixing ring, and attachments).
  3. Soak all accessories in warm, soapy water for a few minutes.
  4. Wash them with a clean brush to remove any food residue.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with running water and dry immediately.
  6. Wipe all accessories with a vegetable oil-wet cloth to prolong their service life.
  7. Clean the motor housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor housing in water.

Important: Do not put any metal parts in the dishwasher or use hot water for cleaning, as this can cause discoloration and damage.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Motor stops during operation.Overheating or overloading.Turn off the unit, unplug, and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes. Reduce the amount of meat being processed or cut meat into smaller pieces.
