Introduction
Thank you for choosing the CLEANmaxx Upholstery & Carpet Cleaner. This compact and powerful device is designed for efficient removal of stains and stubborn dirt from upholstery, carpets, and car seats. With its 2-tank system and strong 9kPa suction power, it sprays fresh water deep into fibers, loosens dirt, and simultaneously vacuums it up. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective use, setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present.
- Identify Tanks: The cleaner features a dual-tank system. Identify the fresh water tank (larger, for clean water and cleaning solution) and the dirty water tank (smaller, for collected dirty water).
- Fill Fresh Water Tank: Open the fresh water tank (typically marked for clean water). Fill it with clean water, and if desired, add a suitable, non-foaming cleaning solution according to the solution's instructions. Do not overfill.
- Attach Nozzle: Select the appropriate cleaning nozzle (e.g., brush nozzle for carpets, flat nozzle for upholstery). Securely attach it to the end of the flexible suction hose.
- Power Connection: Unwind the power cable and plug the cleaner into a suitable electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the product's requirements.

Operating Instructions
The CLEANmaxx Upholstery & Carpet Cleaner operates on a spray and extract principle, effectively cleaning and drying surfaces simultaneously.
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device.
- Pre-treatment (Optional): For heavily soiled areas, you may pre-spray the cleaning solution directly onto the stain and allow it to penetrate for a few minutes before proceeding.
- Spray and Extract: Place the nozzle firmly against the surface to be cleaned. Press the spray trigger on the nozzle handle to release cleaning solution. Slowly pull the nozzle across the soiled area while maintaining pressure. The device will spray the solution, agitate the dirt (if using the brush nozzle), and immediately vacuum up the dirty liquid.
- Repeat as Needed: Continue cleaning in overlapping strokes until the area is clean and the extracted water appears clear. For stubborn stains, repeat the process.
- Drying: After cleaning, make several dry passes over the area without spraying to remove as much moisture as possible. This aids in faster drying.
- Power Off: Once cleaning is complete, turn off the device and unplug it from the power outlet.
Application Areas:
- Upholstery: Ideal for sofas, armchairs, and other fabric furniture.
- Carpets & Rugs: Effective on various carpet types and area rugs.
- Car Seats: Perfect for cleaning vehicle interiors, including fabric seats and floor mats.
- Mattresses: Suitable for refreshing and deep cleaning mattresses.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your CLEANmaxx cleaner.
- Empty Dirty Water Tank: After each use, or when the dirty water tank reaches its maximum fill line, remove it and empty the collected dirty water. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Clean Fresh Water Tank: If using cleaning solutions, rinse the fresh water tank after each use to prevent residue buildup.
- Clean Nozzles and Hose: Detach the cleaning nozzle and rinse it under running water. Check the suction hose for any blockages and clear them if necessary.
- Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Storage: Store the cleaner in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure both tanks are empty and dry before storage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No suction power. | Dirty water tank full; nozzle or hose clogged; tank not properly seated. | Empty and clean dirty water tank; clear any blockages from nozzle or hose; ensure tanks are securely in place. |
| No spray. | Fresh water tank empty; spray nozzle clogged; pump issue. | Refill fresh water tank; clean spray nozzle opening; contact customer support if pump is suspected. |
| Poor cleaning results. | Incorrect cleaning solution; insufficient passes; heavily soiled area. | Use recommended non-foaming cleaning solution; make more passes over the area; pre-treat stubborn stains. |
| Water leakage. | Tanks not properly sealed; damaged hose/nozzle. | Ensure tanks are correctly closed and seated; inspect hose and nozzle for damage and replace if necessary. |
