1. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Adult Assembly Required: This product requires adult assembly. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before beginning.
• Use Proper Tools: Use only the tools specified in the assembly instructions. Do not overtighten screws or bolts, as this may damage the wood.
• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 1100 lbs (approximately 500 kg). Overloading may cause structural failure and injury.
• Level Surface: Assemble and use the bed on a flat, level surface to prevent wobbling and ensure stability.
• Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.
• Keep Away from Children: Small parts can be a choking hazard. Keep assembly hardware out of reach of children.

3. Setup & Assembly

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your LITFAD Pine Wood Platform Bed. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly.

3.1 Unpacking and Preparation

1. Clear a spacious area for assembly.
2. Carefully unpack all components and place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
3. Identify all parts against the package contents list.

3.2 Assembling the Bed Frame

1. Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and an Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten yet.
2. Insert the center support beam(s) into the designated slots or brackets on the side rails.
3. Once the main frame is loosely assembled, gently place it in its final desired position.
4. Fully tighten all bolts and screws on the bed frame. Do not overtighten.

3.3 Installing the Wooden Slats

1. Place the wooden slats evenly across the bed frame, ensuring they rest securely on the support ledges.
2. Some slats may have pre-drilled holes for optional attachment to the frame. If so, use the provided screws to secure them.
3. Ensure there is even spacing between the slats for optimal mattress support and ventilation.

3.4 Installing Storage Drawers (if applicable)

1. If your model includes storage drawers, assemble them according to their separate instructions, if provided.
2. Slide the assembled drawers into the designated spaces under the bed frame.

4. Usage

Your LITFAD Pine Wood Platform Bed is designed for comfort and durability. Here are some guidelines for proper use:

• Mattress Compatibility: This platform bed is designed to be used without a box spring. Place your mattress directly on the wooden slats.
• Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the bed surface. Avoid concentrating heavy loads in one small area.
• Storage Drawers: Utilize the integrated storage drawers for lightweight items such as bedding, clothing, or books. Do not overload the drawers.
• Movement: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and your flooring.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your pine wood platform bed.

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, which can damage the wood finish.
