Introduction

The OSCAL S80 is a rugged smartphone designed for durability and extended use. It features a large 13000mAh battery, IP68/IP69K water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

What's in the Box

Upon opening your OSCAL S80 package, you should find the following items:

Setup Guide

1. SIM Card and Storage Installation

To begin using your OSCAL S80, install your SIM card(s) and an optional microSD card for expanded storage. The device supports dual nano-SIM cards and a microSD card up to 1TB.

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
  2. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray.
  3. Carefully place your nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure they are correctly oriented.
  4. Gently push the tray back into the device until it is flush with the side.

2. Initial Power On and Basic Configuration

Press and hold the power button until the OSCAL logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to Wi-Fi, and set up your Google account. This process will guide you through essential settings to personalize your device.

3. Voice Assistant Setup

The OSCAL S80 runs on Android 12 and supports Google Assistant. To enable voice commands, navigate to Settings > Google > Assistant and follow the instructions to set up "Hey Google" voice match. This allows for hands-free operation for calls, messages, music, and more.

1. Display and User Interface

The OSCAL S80 features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2408x1080 pixels, providing clear visuals for all content. The display is protected by Corning Glass and supports a glove mode for use in various conditions.

2. Camera Features

The rear features a 12MP Sony IMX362 main camera with a 6P lens, 1/2.55" sensor, and f/2.0 aperture for enhanced light sensitivity.
