Setup Guide
1. Installing Batteries
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
- Insert four "AA" alkaline batteries according to the polarity indications (+/-) inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: If the battery indicator appears on the display, replace all four batteries with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
2. Connecting the Air Plug
- Locate the air jack on the side of the main unit.
- Firmly insert the air plug from the arm cuff into the air jack until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions
1. Applying the Arm Cuff
- Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
- Slide your arm through the cuff loop. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm and be aligned with your middle finger.
- The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 1 to 2 cm above your elbow.
- Wrap the cuff firmly around your upper arm, ensuring it is snug but not too tight. The "OK" symbol for cuff wrapping will appear on the display if correctly applied.
2. Taking a Measurement
- Ensure you are relaxed and have not exercised, eaten, or smoked for at least 30 minutes prior to measurement.
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
- Remain still and silent during the measurement.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor. The measurement will be automatically stored in the device's memory.
3. Using Bluetooth Connectivity and Omron Connect App
The Omron HEM 7143T1 features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to sync your blood pressure readings with the Omron Connect app on your smartphone or tablet. This enables easy tracking, analysis, and sharing of your health data.
