Welcome to the OUKITEL WP8 Pro User Manual. This guide provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new rugged smartphone. The OUKITEL WP8 Pro is designed for durability and performance, featuring IP68/IP69K waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof capabilities, a 6.49-inch HD display, a 5000mAh battery, and an MT6762D Octa-Core Processor.
Please read this manual carefully before using your device to ensure proper operation and to maximize its lifespan.

3.2 Device Layout
Familiarize yourself with the physical components of your OUKITEL WP8 Pro.

4. Setup
4.1 Inserting SIM/TF Card
- Locate the SIM/TF card slot on the side of the device.
- Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray.
- Carefully place your Nano-SIM cards and/or TF card (up to 256GB) into the tray, ensuring correct orientation.
- Gently push the tray back into the slot until it is flush with the device body. Ensure the cover is sealed for waterproofing.

4.2 Charging the Battery
The OUKITEL WP8 Pro comes with a 5000mAh high-capacity battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the device before first use.
- Connect the USB cable to the phone's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power adapter and plug it into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen.

5. Operating Your Smartphone
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the OUKITEL logo appears.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Power off" from the options.
5.2 Fingerprint and Face Unlock
The WP8 Pro supports both fingerprint and face unlock for quick and secure access.
- Go to Settings > Security > Fingerprint or Face Unlock.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to register your fingerprint or face data.
5.3 Camera Functions
Capture moments with the 16MP rear triple camera and 8MP front camera. The phone also supports underwater shooting.

- Open the Camera app.
- Select desired mode (Photo, Video, Beauty, Bokeh, More).
- Tap the shutter button to capture.
5.4 NFC Functionality
The OUKITEL WP8 Pro supports NFC for convenient mobile payments (Google Pay) and data transfer.

- Ensure NFC is enabled in Settings > Connected devices > NFC.
- For payments, open your Google Pay app and follow instructions.
- To transfer data, touch the back of your phone to another NFC-enabled device.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Waterproofing and Durability
The OUKITEL WP8 Pro is IP68 and IP69K rated for water, dust, and shock resistance. To maintain its rugged features:

- Always ensure the USB port cover and SIM tray are fully sealed before exposing the phone to water or dust.
- After exposure to water, especially saltwater, rinse the phone with clean fresh water and dry thoroughly before charging.
- Avoid dropping the phone from heights exceeding 1.5 meters, despite its shockproof design.
6.2 Cleaning Your Device
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
