3. Prepare Filters: Before first use, the black carbon filters must be primed. Attach the priming washer to a faucet and flush water through each filter for 60 seconds until water runs clear.
4. Install Filters: Insert the primed black carbon filters into the holes in the base of the upper chamber. Secure them with the provided wing nuts.
5. Assemble Chambers: Place the upper chamber onto the lower chamber.
6. Initial Fill: Pour water into the upper chamber. The water will slowly filter into the lower chamber. Discard the first batch of filtered water to ensure any manufacturing residues are flushed out.
