1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the use and maintenance of your CONTROL INN remote control, designed for seamless compatibility with Panasonic Inverter Minisplit air conditioning units, specifically model Cs-ys12mkv-6. This remote serves as an ideal replacement for lost or damaged original units, offering intuitive operation and quick setup.

The CONTROL INN remote control features an ergonomic design for comfortable handling and clearly labeled buttons for easy operation of your Panasonic Inverter Minisplit. The display screen provides visual feedback on current settings.

Button Functions:

• COOL: Activates the cooling mode.
• TIMER: Sets or cancels the timer function for automatic on/off.
• OFF/ON: Powers the air conditioner on or off.
• AIRSWING: Controls the vertical swing of the air conditioner's louvers.
• TEMP ▲/▼: Adjusts the temperature setting up or down.

3. Setup

Battery Installation:

The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match the diagrams inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

4. Operating Instructions

To operate your Panasonic Inverter Minisplit using the CONTROL INN remote control, point the remote directly at the air conditioner's receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the unit.

• Power On/Off: Press the OFF/ON button to turn the air conditioner on or off.
• Adjusting Temperature: Use the TEMP ▲ button to increase the temperature and the TEMP ▼ button to decrease it. The current temperature setting will be displayed on the remote's screen.
• Selecting Mode: Press the COOL button to activate the cooling mode. Other modes (e.g., Fan, Dry, Heat) may be accessible if your specific unit supports them and the remote has corresponding buttons.
• Fan Speed Control: Press the FAN SPEED button repeatedly to cycle through available fan speeds (e.g., Auto, Low, Medium, High).

Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or the display fades. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
