5.2 General Heat Pressing Steps (for T-shirts)

  1. Prepare Design: Create or print your design onto transfer paper using appropriate sublimation or heat transfer vinyl methods.
  2. Pre-heat Machine: Turn on the machine and set the desired temperature and time according to your transfer material's specifications. Allow the machine to reach the set temperature.
  3. Prepare Garment: Place the T-shirt onto the flat platen. Use a Teflon sheet to protect the platen. Smooth out any wrinkles.
  4. Pre-press (Optional but Recommended): Close the heat press for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles from the garment. Open the press and allow the garment to cool slightly.
  5. Position Design: Carefully place your transfer design onto the garment in the desired position. Cover with a Teflon sheet.
  6. Press: Close the heat press firmly. The timer will begin counting down.
  7. Remove: Once the timer sounds, open the heat press and carefully remove the Teflon sheet and transfer paper (follow specific instructions for hot peel/cold peel).

5.3 Using the Swing-Away Feature

The 360° rotation design allows the heating element to be moved safely aside, reducing the chance of accidental contact and providing a clear workspace for garment placement. Simply lift the handle and swing the top platen to the side.

5.4 Pressure Adjustment

The top pressure knob allows you to adjust the pressure applied during pressing. Turn clockwise for more pressure, counter-clockwise for less. Adjust based on the thickness of your material and transfer type.

5.5 Using Specific Attachments

Refer to the specific instructions for each attachment (hat, mug, plate) for optimal results. Each attachment requires different temperature, time, and pressure settings depending on the material being pressed.
