5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the main feeder unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Attach the food tray to the base of the feeder.
- Insert the food tank onto the main unit, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Place the grain cover on top of the food tank.
5.2 Power Supply
The feeder supports dual power options: AC adapter and D-cell batteries.

- AC Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet. Use the nylon braided cable for durability.
- Battery Backup: For power outage protection, install 3 D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. It is recommended to use both power sources for reliable operation.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Filling the Food Tank
- Remove the grain cover from the top of the feeder.
- Pour dry pet food into the 8L food tank. Ensure the kibble size is between 2mm and 12mm to prevent blockages.
- Place the desiccant bag (if included) in its designated compartment under the lid to maintain food freshness.
- Replace the grain cover securely.

6.2 Setting Feeding Schedules via App
Use the Smart Life app to customize your pet's feeding plan.

- Open the Smart Life app and select your DoHonest S15 feeder.
- Navigate to the "Schedule" or "Feeding Plan" section.
- Set desired feeding times and the number of portions for each meal (1-20 portions).
