Thank you for choosing the GardePro X50 4G LTE Cellular Trail Camera. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your camera. The GardePro X50 is designed for wildlife monitoring and security applications, featuring high-resolution imaging, fast trigger speeds, and cellular connectivity for remote access to captured media.
2. Package Contents
Please check the package contents to ensure all items are present:

Note: 8 AA batteries and an SD card (Class 10, up to 512GB) are required for operation and are not included in the package.
3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your GardePro X50 camera.

Key Components:
- Lens: Captures images and videos.
- Infrared (IR) LEDs: Provide illumination for night vision without visible flash.
- PIR Sensors: Detect motion to trigger recording. The X50 features 3 PIR sensors for a wider detection angle.
- LCD Screen: For menu navigation, settings adjustment, and playback.
- Control Buttons: Menu, OK, Navigation (Up/Down/Left/Right) for operating the camera.
- Power Switch: ON/OFF/TEST modes.
- Battery Compartment: Holds 8 AA batteries.
- SD Card Slot: For inserting the memory card.
- SIM Card Slot: For the pre-installed 4G LTE SIM card.
- Antenna Port: For connecting the 4G antenna.
- USB Port: For connecting to a computer or external power.
- Mounting Strap Slots: For securing the camera to a tree or post.
4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Open the camera housing latches.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 8 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

4.2. SIM Card and SD Card Installation
- The camera comes with a pre-installed SIM card. Ensure it is securely seated in its slot. This SIM card is required for cellular functionality and operates with major EU cellular networks.
- Insert a Class 10 (or higher) SDHC/SDXC memory card (up to 512GB) into the SD card slot with the metal contacts facing down.
- It is highly recommended to format the SD card using the camera's menu before first use.
4.3. Antenna Installation
- Screw the provided 4G antenna firmly into the antenna port on top of the camera.
4.4. Mounting the Camera
- Thread the mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera.
- Secure the camera to a tree or post at the desired height and angle. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the area you wish to monitor.

4.5. App Installation and Connection
- Download the "GardePro Mobile" app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
- Follow the in-app instructions to register your camera. The camera's Auto-Connect technology will automatically detect and link to the strongest cellular signal available.
- Once connected, you can receive photos and Lite-Videos directly to your phone.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off and Test Mode
- Slide the power switch to ON to activate the camera for recording.
- Slide the power switch to OFF to power down the camera.
- Slide the power switch to TEST to access the menu, adjust settings, and view captured media on the LCD screen.
5.2. Menu Navigation and Settings
In TEST mode, use the control buttons to navigate the menu:
- MENU: Enters or exits the menu.
- UP/DOWN: Navigates through menu options.
- LEFT/RIGHT: Changes values or options within a setting.
- OK: Confirms selections.
5.3. Capture Modes
The GardePro X50 offers three primary capture modes:
- Photo Mode: Captures still images (up to 32MP).
- Video Mode: Records video clips (1296p H.265 with clear audio).
- Photo & Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip.
5.4. Advanced Settings
- Image/Video Resolution: Adjust the quality of captured media.
- Trigger Speed: Set the camera's response time to motion. The X50 features an ultra-fast 0.1s trigger speed.
- Adaptive IR Night Vision: The camera automatically adjusts IR illumination to prevent over or under-exposure, saving up to 75% battery at night.
- Time Lapse: Capture images at set intervals regardless of motion.
- Operating Hours: Define specific time periods for the camera to be active.
- Loop Overwrite: When the SD card is full, the camera will overwrite the oldest files.
- Password Protection: Set a password to prevent unauthorized access to camera settings and media.

5.5. Remote Monitoring (App Features)
The GardePro Mobile app allows you to:
- Receive captured photos and Lite-Videos directly to your smartphone.
- View a compact, lightweight version of videos (Lite-Video) to quickly understand events without high data costs. Full HD video downloads may be available separately.
- Adjust camera settings remotely.
- Monitor battery status and signal strength.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Gently wipe the camera lens and PIR sensors with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or smudges.
- Clean the camera body with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
6.2. Battery Replacement
- Replace all 8 AA batteries when the battery indicator shows low power. Using a fresh set of high-quality alkaline or rechargeable batteries is recommended.
6.3. Storage
- When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries and SD card.
- Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera does not power on:
Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity. Check if batteries are fully charged. Try a new set of batteries. - SD card error/not recognized:
Ensure the SD card is inserted correctly. Format the SD card using the camera's menu. Try a different Class 10 SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512GB). - No cellular signal or media transmission:
Ensure the 4G antenna is securely attached. Check the signal strength indicator on the camera or app. Verify that the pre-installed SIM card has an active data plan. The GardePro X50 requires its specific pre-installed SIM card and associated data plans for cellular functionality; it may not be compatible with third-party SIM cards. - Poor image/video quality:
Clean the camera lens. Ensure the camera is stable and not subject to excessive movement. Check resolution settings in the menu. - PIR sensor not triggering:
Ensure the PIR sensitivity setting is appropriate for the environment. Clear any obstructions in front of the PIR sensors.
