4. Setup Guide

4.1 Before You Begin

Ensure you have the following components and tools:

  • Compatible CPU (Intel 12th/13th/14th Gen LGA 1700)
  • DDR4 RAM modules
  • CPU Cooler
  • Graphics Card (if not using integrated graphics)
  • Storage Device (M.2 SSD or SATA SSD/HDD)

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the Case: Install the I/O shield into your PC case.
  2. Install CPU: Open the CPU socket lever, align the CPU with the triangle marker, gently place it into the socket, and close the lever.
  3. Install CPU Cooler: Follow your cooler's instructions to mount it securely onto the CPU and motherboard.
  4. Install RAM: Open the clips on the DDR4 DIMM slots, align the RAM modules with the notch, and press down firmly until the clips snap into place.
  5. Install M.2 SSD (Optional): Insert the M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot and secure it with the provided M.2 clip or screw.
  6. Install Motherboard: Carefully place the motherboard into the PC case, aligning it with the standoffs. Secure it with screws.
  7. Install Graphics Card (Optional): Insert the graphics card into the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot until it clicks. Secure it with a screw to the case.
  8. Connect Power: Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin CPU power connector from your PSU to the motherboard. Connect power to the graphics card if required.
  9. Connect Storage: Connect SATA data cables from your storage devices to the SATA ports on the motherboard. Connect SATA power cables from your PSU to the devices.
