3. Operating Your Watch

3.1 Timekeeping

The watch features a precise quartz movement with a 3-hand analog display for accurate timekeeping (hours, minutes, seconds).

3.2 Multifunction Dials

The multifunction sub-dials provide additional information. Refer to the specific markings on your watch face for their functions, which typically include day of the week, date, or 24-hour time. Adjustments are made via the crown as described in the Setup section.

3.3 Glow In The Dark Feature

Certain elements on the watch dial and hands are treated with a luminous material, allowing them to glow in low-light conditions after exposure to light. This feature enhances readability in the dark.

4. Care and Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stainless steel, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This rating makes it suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4.3 Battery Replacement

The quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to skip, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

4.4 Bracelet Care

The stainless steel bracelet can be cleaned with a soft brush and mild soapy water, then rinsed and dried thoroughly. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Watch Not Running

  • Check the crown: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
  • Battery: If the watch has stopped completely, the battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch repair service.

5.2 Incorrect Time/Date

  • Reset time/date: Follow the instructions in Section 2.2 to reset the time and date.
  • Crown position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting to prevent accidental changes.

5.3 Condensation Inside Watch

If you notice condensation inside the watch, it may indicate a breach in the water resistance. Immediately take the watch to a qualified service center to prevent further damage.
