Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
- Attaching Castors: The unit comes with 4 castors. Insert each castor firmly into the designated slots at the bottom of the air cooler until it clicks into place. Ensure all castors are securely attached for stable movement.
- Placement: Position the air cooler on a flat, stable surface. For optimal performance, place the unit near an open window or door to allow for cross-ventilation. Evaporative coolers require a source of fresh air and an exhaust for humid air to operate effectively.
- Filling the Water Tank: Locate the water inlet. Slowly pour clean, cool water into the tank. The water level indicator on the front of the unit will show the current water level. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line. The tank capacity is 12 liters.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220 Volts).

Operating Instructions
The Bonaire Diet 12i can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel / Remote Functions:
- Power Button (): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Fan Speed Button (): Cycle through different fan speeds (Low, Medium, High).
- Cooling Button (): Activates or deactivates the evaporative cooling function. Ensure the water tank is filled when using this mode.
- Swing Button (): Activates or deactivates the automatic oscillation of the vertical louvers for wider air distribution. Horizontal louvers can be adjusted manually.
- Timer Button (): Set the operating time for up to 7 hours. Each press increases the timer setting.
- Sleep Mode Button (): Activates a quieter operation mode, often with reduced fan speed and dimmed lights, suitable for night-time use.
- i-Pure Technology: This feature integrates multi-stage air purification, including a dust filter and honeycomb cooling pad, to deliver cleaner and fresher air.
Water Tank Management:
- Refilling: When the water level is low, the unit may emit an alarm or indicator light. Refill the tank as described in the Setup section.
- Empty Water Tank Alarm: The unit is equipped with an alarm that alerts you when the water level is critically low, preventing damage to the pump.

Maintenance

- Cleaning the Cooling Pad and Dust Filter:
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Carefully remove the back panel to access the honeycomb cooling pad and dust filter.
- Rinse the cooling pad and dust filter under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
- Allow them to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Cleaning the Water Tank:
- Drain any remaining water from the tank using the drain plug (if available) or by carefully tilting the unit.
- Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Regular cleaning prevents mold and mildew growth.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
