3. Setup Guide

3.1 Mounting the Unit

  1. Choose a suitable flat surface on your car's dashboard for mounting, ensuring it does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.
  2. Clean the chosen surface thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of the suction cup stand or bracket fixing sticker.
  3. Attach the monitor base to the main unit.
  4. Secure the unit to the dashboard using the suction cup or bracket fixing sticker. Ensure it is firmly in place before proceeding.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord (car charger) to the unit's power input port and then plug it into your vehicle's 7-32V DC power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The unit will power on automatically.

3.3 Initial Setup for Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto

To use wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.

  1. On the car stereo, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto interface.
  2. On your smartphone, search for Bluetooth devices and pair with the device named "T86-XXXX" (the specific name may vary).
  3. Accept any pairing requests or prompts on both the car stereo and your smartphone, including allowing contacts and favorites sync.
  4. Once paired, the system will automatically connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Once connected, your smartphone's compatible applications will be displayed on the 9.3-inch touchscreen. You can navigate through apps, make calls, send messages, play music, and use navigation services directly from the car stereo. Voice commands are supported via Siri or Google Assistant for hands-free operation.

4.2 Dash Cam (DVR Loop Recording)

The built-in front camera records video in FHD 1080P resolution. The included 64GB TF card stores the recordings. The unit supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest files when the storage is full. The dash cam features WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology for clear recording in various lighting conditions.

4.3 Audio Output Options

The unit offers several ways to output audio to your car's sound system:

  • Bluetooth Audio: Stream music directly from your smartphone to the unit via Bluetooth. The unit has a built-in speaker for direct sound output, or it can transmit to your car's system.
  • FM Transmission: Tune your car's FM radio to the same frequency as set on the car stereo to transmit audio wirelessly.
  • AUX Audio: Connect the provided 3m AUX cable from the unit's AUX output to your car's AUX input port for a wired audio connection.

4.4 Voice Control

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the unit. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Temperature: Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods, as this may affect performance and lifespan.
