3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides over 15 hours of playtime.
3.2 Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (refer to Image 2.3 for button location) until the power indicator lights up.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button again until the power indicator turns off.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the status indicator will typically blink blue).
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "Raymate R5" or similar.
- Select the speaker from the list to pair. Once connected, the status indicator will turn solid blue.
- The Bluetooth 5.0 chip ensures a stable and fast connection.
4.2 Audio Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (refer to Image 2.3) to start or pause music.
- Volume Control: Press the '+' button to increase volume and '-' button to decrease volume.
- Next/Previous Track: Long press the '+' button for the next track and '-' button for the previous track.
- AUX Input: Connect an audio device directly using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- Micro SD Card Playback: Insert a Micro SD card with audio files into the designated slot. The speaker will automatically play music from the card.
4.3 Answering Calls
With its built-in microphone, the speaker allows for hands-free calling.
- Answer/End Call: Press the Play/Pause/Answer or Reject Phone button once to answer an incoming call or end an ongoing call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause/Answer or Reject Phone button to reject an incoming call.
4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
Pair two Raymate 20W portable Bluetooth speakers to create a 40W surround stereo sound system.
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power ON/OFF button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: The speaker has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing to water. Do not intentionally submerge for extended periods or in depths greater than specified.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
6. Troubleshooting
