Setup Instructions

  1. Power On: Screw the light bulb camera into a standard E27 bulb base (110V~240V). Ensure the power is on. The camera will power up and may emit an audible prompt.
  2. Download App: Scan the QR code provided in the camera's packaging or search for the recommended application (e.g., "HDMiniCam" or similar, as seen in video) in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Download and install the application.
  3. Register/Login: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account or log in if you already have one.
  4. Add Device: In the app, select the option to add a new device. Choose the appropriate camera type.
  5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the app's prompts to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz compatible. Some cameras may require initial setup on a 2.4GHz network before connecting to 5GHz.
  6. Pairing: The app will guide you through the pairing process, which may involve scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera, or listening for an audible confirmation from the camera.
  7. Finalize Setup: Once connected, you can name your camera and adjust initial settings within the app.

Operating Instructions

Live View and Pan/Tilt Control

Once the camera is connected, open the app to access the live video feed. You can control the camera's viewing angle by swiping on the screen to pan (horizontal movement up to 355°) and tilt (vertical movement up to 95°), ensuring comprehensive coverage without blind spots.

Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera is equipped with a sensitive motion sensor. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record the event and send a real-time alert notification to your smartphone via the app. You can customize motion detection sensitivity and alert settings within the app.

Two-Way Audio

Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication. This feature allows you to speak to individuals near the camera, such as delivery personnel or family members, directly through the app.

Night Vision

The camera supports both infrared and full-color night vision modes. In low-light conditions, the camera automatically switches to night vision to provide clear images. Full-color night vision is activated when sufficient ambient light is available or when the camera's integrated lights are active.

Video Recording and Storage

The camera supports video recording to a Micro SD card (not included) or to cloud storage (subscription may be required). Recorded footage can be accessed and reviewed through the mobile application.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz compatible. Some routers combine these; try separating them if possible.
  • Camera may be too far from the Wi-Fi router. Move closer or use a Wi-Fi extender.
  • Incorrect Wi-Fi password entered during setup. Double-check credentials.
  • Router settings (e.g., firewall, MAC filtering) may be blocking the camera. Consult your router's manual.
  • Power cycle the camera and router.
Motion detection is too sensitive or not detecting.
  • Adjust motion detection sensitivity settings within the app.
  • Ensure the camera's field of view is clear of moving objects like tree branches or flags that could trigger false alarms.
  • Verify the camera's position and angle to optimize detection area.
No video feed or black screen in app.
  • Check if the camera is powered on and properly screwed into the E27 base.
  • Verify your internet connection.
  • Restart the app or your smartphone.
  • Power cycle the camera.
Two-way audio not working.
  • Ensure microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the app on your smartphone.
  • Check volume settings on both your phone and within the app.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions covering the camera's microphone or speaker.
Camera stopped working after some time.
  • Perform a hard reset if the camera has a reset button (refer to Figure 7 for location).
  • Ensure stable power supply.
  • Contact customer support if issues persist.
