  2. In the Computer Management window, navigate to "Disk Management".
  3. Locate your new SSD, right-click it, and select "Initialize Disk". Choose MBR for disks smaller than 2TB (Windows XP compatible) or GPT for disks larger than 2TB.
  4. After initialization, right-click the unallocated space on the new SSD and select "New Simple Volume" to create a partition and format the drive.

5. Operating Modes

5.1. Read/Write Mode (Docking Station Functionality)

When connected to a computer, the docking station functions as an external drive enclosure, allowing you to read and write data to your M.2 NVMe SSDs. Ensure the Copy/JBOD switch on the rear is set to the 'JBOD' position for this mode.

5.2. Offline Clone Function

The one-key offline clone function allows you to duplicate an SSD without connecting to a computer.

  1. Insert the Source SSD (the drive you want to copy from) into the 'Source' slot.
  2. Insert the Target SSD (the drive you want to copy to) into the 'Target' slot. Important: The capacity of the Target SSD must be equal to or larger than the Source SSD.
  3. Ensure the docking station is disconnected from any computer.
  4. Connect the power supply and turn on the docking station.
  5. Set the Copy/JBOD switch on the rear to the 'Copy' position.
  6. Press and hold the 'Clone' button for 5-8 seconds until the LED indicators start to flash.
  7. The LED indicators (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) will illuminate sequentially to show the cloning progress. All lights will stay on when the cloning process is complete.
