3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Insert the two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

3.2. Connecting the Base Station and Chargers

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the RJ11 port on the base station and the other end to your telephone wall socket.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the base station's power input and plug it into a wall outlet.
  3. For the additional handsets, connect each charger's power adapter to its power input and plug them into separate wall outlets.

3.3. Initial Charging

Place each handset on its respective base or charger. The handsets will begin charging. For optimal battery performance, allow the handsets to charge continuously for at least 15-20 hours before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Pick up a handset, dial the number, and press the green call button.
  • To Answer a Call: When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the green call button.
  • To End a Call: Press the red end call button or place the handset back on its base/charger.

4.2. Audio Boost Function

To increase the earpiece volume by +6 dB during a call, press the dedicated audio boost button (often marked with an ear icon or "+"). Press it again to return to normal volume.

4.3. Hands-Free Function

During a call, press the hands-free button (speaker icon) to activate speakerphone mode. You can adjust the hands-free volume using the navigation keys.

4.4. Direct Memory Keys (M1, M2)
