- 60V Brushless Motor: Delivers 6000 RPM, comparable to a 26cc gas trimmer, capable of cutting through thick brush.
- Spin-to-Load Head Design: Allows for quick and easy line reloading in approximately 10 seconds, eliminating manual winding.
- 16" Professional Swath: Provides a wide cutting path for efficient clearing of large areas and dense weeds.
- Lightweight Design: Weighs approximately 11.2 lbs with battery, featuring a 360° rotating handle for reduced strain.
- Extended Runtime: Up to 65 minutes of operation with a 2.5Ah battery, capable of covering up to 1.5 acres per charge.
- Quiet Operation: Operates at 68dB, making it suitable for use in noise-sensitive environments.
- Zero Maintenance: Requires no oil, filters, belts, or produces fumes, simplifying upkeep.
Safety Guidelines
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and sturdy footwear when operating the trimmer.
- Ensure the work area is clear of debris, rocks, and other objects that could be thrown by the cutting line.
- Keep bystanders, children, and pets at a safe distance (at least 50 feet/15 meters) from the operating area.
- Do not operate the trimmer in wet conditions or rain.
- Inspect the trimmer for any damage or loose parts before each use. Do not operate if damaged.
- Use only genuine Greenworks replacement parts and accessories.
- Always remove the battery pack before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or when storing the trimmer.
- Be aware of flying debris. Use caution when operating, as the trimmer may be less stable due to its lighter weight.

Trimming Techniques
- Sweeping Motion: Use a side-to-side sweeping motion, keeping the trimmer head parallel to the ground.
- Edging: Tilt the trimmer head to a vertical position to create clean edges along sidewalks and driveways.
- Cutting Height: Adjust the angle of the trimmer to achieve desired cutting height.
- Dense Growth: For very thick grass or weeds, make smaller passes to avoid bogging down the motor. The 60V brushless motor is designed to power through tough vegetation.

Figure 6: The trimmer is 25% lighter than gas models, making it easier to maneuver for extended periods.

Line Advancement (Load N Go™ Head)
The Load N Go™ trimmer head simplifies line replacement. To advance the line, simply tap the trimmer head on the ground while the trimmer is running. For reloading new line:
- Step 1: Line up the green lines on the trimmer head.
- Step 2: Insert a new .095" dual line through the head, pushing it until an equal length protrudes from both sides.
- Step 3: Twist the head clockwise to wind the line into the spool. This process takes approximately 10 seconds.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your trimmer. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning
- After each use, clean the trimmer head and guard to remove grass clippings and debris.
- Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the trimmer. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure ventilation openings are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating.
Line Replacement
When the cutting line becomes too short or breaks, replace it using the Load N Go™ system as described in the Operating Instructions section. Use only .095" diameter trimmer line.
Storage
- Store the trimmer in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Remove the battery pack from the trimmer before storing for extended periods.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, partially charged (around 50%) for optimal longevity.
