Setup

1. Initial Unlock

Before first use, the flashlight is in lock mode to prevent accidental activation during shipping. To unlock, either connect the flashlight to a USB-C charger or perform 5 quick clicks on the main button.

2. Charging

The Aurora A6 features a built-in rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. To charge, open the USB-C port cover and connect a USB-C cable (not included) to a power source. A full charge takes approximately 60 minutes. The indicator light will show charging status.

3. Attaching Accessories

Attach the included key ring for easy keychain carry. The magnetic clip can be attached to clothing, bags, or other magnetic surfaces for hands-free use. The magnetic detachable base provides additional mounting options.

Operating Instructions

The RovyVon Aurora A6 operates primarily through its single main button. Familiarize yourself with the click patterns for different functions.

1. Main Light Operation (Front Light)

• Momentary On: From OFF, press and hold the button for instant illumination. Release to turn off.
• Constant On & Brightness Levels: From OFF, double-click the button to turn on the main light in its last used brightness mode. Click again to cycle through brightness levels (Low, Medium, High, Turbo). Long press to turn off.

2. Side Light Operation

• White Side Light: From OFF, triple-click the button to activate the white side light. Click again to cycle through different white light intensities (e.g., soft, brighter). Long press to turn off.
• UV Light: From OFF, quad-click (four quick clicks) the button to activate the 365nm UV light. This is useful for verifying currency or identifying fluorescent materials. Long press to turn off.
• Red Light Modes: From OFF, five quick clicks will activate the red light. Click again to cycle through modes: Steady Red, Slow Flashing Red, Quick Flashing Red. Long press to turn off.

3. Lock Mode

To prevent accidental activation, especially when carried in a pocket or bag, the Aurora A6 features a lock mode. To engage lock mode, ensure the flashlight is off, then press the button 5 times quickly. To exit lock mode, either connect the flashlight to a USB-C charger or press the button 5 times quickly again.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the flashlight regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery.
• Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• USB-C Port: Always ensure the USB-C port cover is properly sealed when not charging to protect against dust and moisture.
