5. Setup

6. Slide the new blade into place until it clicks securely. Release the button.

5.4 Adjusting Trimmer Head Angle

The trimmer head can be adjusted by 90 degrees for optimal cutting angles.

• Press and hold the two round buttons located on both sides of the trimmer head.

• Attach the hedge trimmer blade as described in Section 5.3.
• Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands if necessary for better control, especially for larger tasks.
• Start the trimmer and guide the blade through the branches, using a sweeping motion.
• Avoid cutting branches thicker than 3/8 inch (approximately 9.5 mm).
