Setup and Installation

Before installation, choose a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day to ensure optimal charging of the solar battery.

Mounting Options:

1. Pier Mount: Use the included pier mount base for installation on flat surfaces like pillars, decks, or fence posts.
2. Post Mount: The light head can also be directly mounted onto a standard 3-inch (7.6 cm) lamp post (not included).

Installation Steps:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Activate: Locate the ON/OFF switch, usually found near the bulb or under the solar panel. Switch it to the "ON" position. The light will not illuminate during the day.
3. Assemble Base (if using pier mount): Attach the pier mount base to your desired flat surface using appropriate screws and anchors (provided). Ensure it is securely fastened.
4. Attach Light Head: Securely place the solar light head onto the pier mount base or directly onto your 3-inch lamp post. Ensure it is stable and level.
5. Initial Charge: Allow the solar light to charge for at least 6-8 hours in direct sunlight before its first use.

Operating Instructions

The LUTEC Solar Post Light is designed for automatic operation.

• Once the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position, the light will automatically charge during the day when exposed to sunlight.
• At dusk, the built-in sensor will detect the decrease in ambient light and automatically turn the lamp on.
• At dawn, as ambient light increases, the sensor will automatically turn the lamp off.
• The light is designed to provide illumination for up to 9 hours after a full charge.

Maintenance

• Bulb Replacement: The E26 LED bulb is replaceable. If the bulb fails, replace it with a compatible E26 LED bulb.
