4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on or off each unit, slide the Power Switch to the ON or OFF position respectively.

4.2 Adjusting Volume

On the Receiver unit, use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons to adjust your monitoring level to a comfortable listening volume.

4.3 Mono/Stereo Switching

Both the Transmitter and Receiver units feature a Mono/Stereo switch. This allows you to select the desired audio input/output mode:

  • Mono Mode: Combines left and right audio channels into a single signal, often used for vocal monitoring or when a stereo signal is not available.
  • Stereo Mode: Preserves the left and right audio channels separately, providing a wider soundstage for instruments and full mixes.

Ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are set to the same mode (Mono or Stereo) for consistent audio transmission.

4.4 One-to-Many Operation

The LEKATO MS-1 system supports connecting one Transmitter to multiple Receivers simultaneously. This is ideal for bands or groups where multiple members need to monitor the same audio mix.

  • Pair the Transmitter with each Receiver individually using the automatic pairing process described in Section 3.2.
  • Once all Receivers are paired, they will all receive the audio signal from the single Transmitter.

The MS-1 system is versatile and suitable for:

  • Live Performance: Provides clear, personal monitoring on stage without the need for bulky floor monitors.
  • Band Rehearsal: Allows each band member to hear themselves and the mix clearly, improving practice efficiency.
  • Recording Studio: Offers isolated monitoring for vocalists and instrumentalists during tracking.
