3. Assembly and Setup

Assembling your meat grinder is straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Place the main motor unit on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Insert the feed screw (auger) into the grinding head.
  3. Place a cutting blade onto the end of the feed screw, ensuring the sharp side faces outwards.
  4. Select your desired grinding plate (2mm for fine, 5mm for medium, 7mm for coarse) and place it over the cutting blade.
  5. Secure all components by screwing on the fixing ring tightly.
  6. Attach the assembled grinding head to the main motor unit, aligning it with the motor shaft. Secure it by turning the locking knob clockwise until it clicks into place.
  7. Place the hopper plate on top of the grinding head.
  8. For sausage stuffing or Kibbeh, replace the grinding plate and cutting blade with the appropriate attachment before securing the fixing ring.

4. Operating Instructions

Prepare your ingredients and operate the grinder as follows:

4.1 Meat Grinding

  1. Cut meat into pieces that fit easily into the feeding tube (approx. 1-inch cubes). Remove bones, gristle, and excessive fat.
  2. Place a bowl or container under the grinding head to collect the ground meat.
  3. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
  4. Turn the "ON/OFF/R" switch to "ON".
  5. Feed the meat into the feeding tube using the food pusher. Do not force the meat or use your fingers.
  6. If the grinder becomes clogged, turn the switch to "R" (Reverse) to clear the blockage. Then switch back to "ON" to continue.
  7. Once grinding is complete, turn the switch to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.

4.2 Sausage Stuffing

  1. Assemble the grinder with the appropriate sausage stuffer tube.
  2. Prepare your seasoned ground meat mixture.
  3. Slide the sausage casing onto the stuffer tube.
  4. Turn the grinder "ON" and feed the meat mixture into the hopper, guiding the casing as it fills.

4.3 Kibbeh Making

  1. Assemble the grinder with the Kibbeh attachment.
  2. Prepare your Kibbeh dough mixture.
  3. Turn the grinder "ON" and feed the mixture into the hopper. The attachment will form hollow tubes for filling.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your meat grinder:

  1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble all removable parts: hopper plate, grinding head, feed screw, cutting blade, grinding plate, fixing ring, sausage tubes, and Kibbeh attachment.
  3. Hand Wash Only: The grinding head, hopper plate, feed screw, and fixing ring are made of aluminum alloy and are NOT dishwasher safe. Wash these parts with warm, soapy water and wipe them dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent oxidation and discoloration.
  4. Dishwasher Safe: The cutting blades, grinding plates, and plastic accessories (sausage tubes, Kibbeh attachment, food pusher) are made of stainless steel and BPA-free plastic, and are dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended for better longevity.
  5. Clean the main motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water.
  6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing to prevent rust and bacterial growth.
  7. Store the grinder in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Aiheal Meat Grinder, refer to the table below:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Motor stops during operation. Overload protection activated (too much meat, bones, or tough sinew). Turn off, unplug, clear any blockages, allow motor to cool for 10-15 minutes, then restart with smaller portions.
Meat not grinding smoothly or getting stuck. Meat is too large, contains bones/gristle, or blade/plate is incorrectly installed. Cut meat into smaller pieces. Ensure meat is boneless and free of tough sinew. Check blade orientation (sharp side out) and plate alignment. Use "R" (Reverse) function to clear minor clogs.
Loud noise or unusual vibration. Improper assembly or foreign object inside. Turn off and unplug immediately. Disassemble and reassemble all parts carefully, ensuring they are securely fitted. Check for any foreign objects.
Appliance does not turn on. Not plugged in, power outage, or safety pin not engaged. Check power connection. Ensure the locking knob for the grinding head is fully engaged.
