5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your meat grinder:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble all removable parts: hopper plate, grinding head, feed screw, cutting blade, grinding plate, fixing ring, sausage tubes, and Kibbeh attachment.
- Hand Wash Only: The grinding head, hopper plate, feed screw, and fixing ring are made of aluminum alloy and are NOT dishwasher safe. Wash these parts with warm, soapy water and wipe them dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent oxidation and discoloration.
- Dishwasher Safe: The cutting blades, grinding plates, and plastic accessories (sausage tubes, Kibbeh attachment, food pusher) are made of stainless steel and BPA-free plastic, and are dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended for better longevity.
- Clean the main motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing to prevent rust and bacterial growth.
- Store the grinder in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Aiheal Meat Grinder, refer to the table below:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor stops during operation. | Overload protection activated (too much meat, bones, or tough sinew). | Turn off, unplug, clear any blockages, allow motor to cool for 10-15 minutes, then restart with smaller portions. |
| Meat not grinding smoothly or getting stuck. | Meat is too large, contains bones/gristle, or blade/plate is incorrectly installed. | Cut meat into smaller pieces. Ensure meat is boneless and free of tough sinew. Check blade orientation (sharp side out) and plate alignment. Use "R" (Reverse) function to clear minor clogs. |
| Loud noise or unusual vibration. | Improper assembly or foreign object inside. | Turn off and unplug immediately. Disassemble and reassemble all parts carefully, ensuring they are securely fitted. Check for any foreign objects. |
| Appliance does not turn on. | Not plugged in, power outage, or safety pin not engaged. | Check power connection. Ensure the locking knob for the grinding head is fully engaged. |
